About the Working Safely course
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Working Safely course is a one day course aimed at workers at any level of operations working in any business sector.
The course provides an introduction to the principles of health and safety in the workplace and gives detail on why acknowledging health and safety in the workplace is so important. The aim of the course is to ensure that all delegates are able to adopt the right working attitude in relation to health and safety and changing working behaviours in order to ensure safety within the workplace.
The IOSH Working Safely course focuses on best practise and does not go into detail on the legislation relating to health and safety. This means that it is suitable for people who are likely to use their skills while working internationally as well as in the UK.
The IOSH Working Safely course is equivalent to a level 1 award in health and safety in a construction environment and is also a 100% match to the HSE’s ‘passport‘ syllabus.
