Aims and objectives
This CCNSG renewal course is designed as a one day refresher course for those candidates that have already passed the CCNSG National Course. This has to be taken three months before or after the Safety Passport expiry date and will run from that date for a further three years. Failure to ensure this will result in the delegate having to re-take the two day CCNSG National course.
Course content
This course aims to refresh and update the delegate on the topics covered in their original two day course, including any changes or introduction of new legislation.
The course consists of the following objectives:
- The impact of an accident
- The importance of safe behaviour
- Legal framework
- POWRA
- PTW
- Good practice
There are multiple choice assessments throughout.

Target Audience
The course is appropriate for anyone working in an industrial environment, from labourers to project managers.
Pre-course preparation
To be eligible to attend this course, all delegates must have an existing CCNSG passport and ensure that the renewal course is done three months before or after the expiry date.
Certification
Delegates who successfully complete the multiple choice assessments will receive the CCNSG Passport card, which is valid for three years.
