The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 prevents anyone from removing asbestos containing materials (ACMs) unless they have received the correct training which details how such work should be undertaken.
Non licensed asbestos removal training is particularly useful for people involved in housing maintenance, refurbishments and demolitions. Instead of having to sub-contract non licensed asbestos removal work to specialist asbestos removal companies, you will be able to undertake the work in-house.
Training takes 1 full day and includes practical aspects. Upon completion of the course, a certificate valid from UKATA will be issued for a period of 12 months, in line with HSE guidance.
Our Working with Non-Licensed Asbestos course meets the UKATA Specification for its updated 2014 syllabus. This includes a more in-depth practical element to the training, which ensures that anyone taking the course gets a more in-depth knowledge of working with asbestos and asbestos removal.
A valid UKATA Asbestos Awareness certificate must be held by any delegates wishing to take the Working with Non-Licensed Asbestos course, and must have been taken within the 6 months prior to taking the course.

This course will demonstrate in a practical way how to protect your workforce when working with or removing non-licensed asbestos. Courses are held at either your own site or at an external venue, and are regularly held at a number of different venues across the UK.
Up to 12 delegates are permitted on each course, the content of which will be tailored towards your particular area of work and to the exact requirements of your workforce. As well as being bespoke, the training is less expensive than alternative providers.
